The club was pleased to be able to meet in person for its March 17th general meeting. We welcomed Renee Marsh, Horticultural Chair of FGCCT and owner of A Simpler Place, a landscaping consulting service. Renee helped us look at how to apply the basics of interior design to our gardens and add a personal flair to outdoor spaces. With a St. Patrick’s Day theme, the event was a happy gathering.
Happy December, everyone. By now you may have noticed various wreaths popping up on town buildings. The Garden Club was happy to hold its annual wreath making activity day back on November 18th. This year we were able to return to making the large wreath for Town Hall as a group but continued with Grab-and-Go wreathmaking for our smaller wreaths.
We are pleased to announce that on October 27, 2021, the Federated Garden Clubs of Connecticut recognized The Garden Club of Brookfield with six awards. The awards were made based on reports of the club
